Summit Farms Efforts in Conser- vation

Summit Farms strives to be excellent stewards of the land.

By managing 75 miles of filter strips, 15 acres of food plots, 2,000 acres of recreation land and a wetland containing 187 acres, Summit Farms continues to ensure the surrounding environment will be protected and functional for many years to come.

Berendt Wetland was built in 2001. With a total of 187 acres, it contains 23 acres of water surrounded by 75 acres of wetland meadow and 89 acres of upland meadow. Numerous species of animals – including deer, geese, pheasant and ducks – all call the Berendt Wetland home.
